our services

What service we provide

Our services for acupuncture are patient-oriented, personalized, from a focused treatment to a whole-body balance in the body and mind. We provide needling and non-needing (needle-free) services, one or multiple techniques,  based on your condition, preference, and your comfort level.

What to expect at visit

We understand everyone is different. To treat your condition in a holistic way based on your body, rather than using a general protocol, we spend time with each patient to get to know about your conditions in more details, which may include checking your tongue and pulse, and asking you questions in details about your main symptoms, and other general information such as your stress, emotions, sleep, bowel movement, sweating, feel hot or cold, your diet, etc. which may not be in your routine questionnaire, but may be important to a traditional medicine diagnosis and treatment.

The first visit takes about 1.5 h, and returns takes about 1 h.

Service with needles

Acupuncture: Insert hair-like thin needles on specific acupuncture points to regulate the channels and organs. All needles are sterilized, disposable, only used one time.

Electro-acupuncture

Add a mild safe electric current to the needles to enhance stimulation of acupuncture points.

Non-needle (needles-free) Service

Cupping: Warm glass cups are used to apply gentle suction on skin to stimulate acupuoints and soft tissues.

Moxa

A burning herb stick is used to warm up acupuncture needles or acupoints.

Korean hand therapy

Apply small pellets on hand to balance the body and treat  conditions.

Ear seed

Apply small pellets or herb seeds on specific points on the ear  to balance the body and treat conditions.

Acupoint scraping/Gua Sha

A jade tool is used to gently scrape the skin of special acupoints to stimulate them and blood circulation of soft tissues.

Acupressure/Tui Na

A Chinese style of massage. We focus on acupressure points and channels to release trigger points.

Diet

Food nature may be discussed based on traditional Chinese medicine. It may provide more benefit for a chronic condition.
